To further the mission of the camp through the development and delivery of song activities that are safe, fun, and appropriate to the campers’ age and abilities.
Must be 18 or older
Background and experience in camping and/or related fields
Bring an enthusiasm for Jewish music and music education to the camp community
Develop a culture of songs and ruach throughout camp
Participate in Friday night service
Participate in Saturday night Havdalah
Ability to communicate with, relate to, and serve as an example for campers and staff
Desire and ability to work with children and young adults in a camp setting
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Ability to facilitate song/music activities for different age groups
Integrate new and creative songs and ideas into existing camp traditions
Must have the ability and presence to assist in and lead an enjoyable and spiritual camp Shabbat service
Assist in all musical aspects of campfires, night time activities, performances, and other musical moments in camp
Coordinate daily song sessions, weekly Shabbat song sessions, and pluralistic Shabbat Services.
