Preparing to Pray: Opening our Hearts to the Music and Liturgy of the High Holy Days.
Join Cantor Ellen Dreskin in conversation, reflection, study and song. She will use selections from our liturgy–including Avinu Malkeinu, Hashiveinu and other texts–to expand our personal relationships to the major themes of the High Holy Days as we prepare to lead others in prayer. And bring your shofars–we will finish the session with an open mic shofar chorus to welcome the new year!
