Guild Cares
Guild Cares is designed to help Guild members connect with each other for mentoring, collaboration, and friendship. Recognizing that members are often the only one of their kind in their professional settings, we seek to provide a safe space to discuss issues with others who can be empathetic and helpful in dealing with the challenges we all face.
Guild Talks Music: What’s Your Mi Chamocha?
Each week we choose selected pieces to accompany our Shabbat worship in our congregations. We don’t get the chance to hear what others are doing, or to share our own highlights. Join Cantor Ross Wolman, a representative from Transcontinental Music and JLicense to explore what the most used melodies are (as reported to JLicense) and what hidden gems you may be missing. This is an opportunity to grow your repertoire by exploring what is newly offered in Shabbat music by Transcon and by what your colleagues have discovered!
Guild Talks Music: Basic Sight-Reading for Choirs
Cantor Jen Roher will lead a webinar with Organizational Members and others on basic sight-reading.
Guild Talks Music: The Jewish Music Scene in Great Britain
Daniel Cainer, the "Comic-Bard of Anglo Jewry", will host a webinar devoted to what's happening in Jewish music in the British Isles.
